The versatile 2000 sq ft Carrot Green Roof is a warm and inviting event space that features gardens and a deck for cocktails/wedding receptions, social/retail events, book/movie launches, birthdays/anniversaries, educational tours/social events and much more.
The wooden deck has external access via a stairway entrance from the Carrot Common courtyard and parking lot.
Open TO THE PUBLIC during spring and summer from approximately 8am to 8pm, unless reserved for a private event.

Members of the community are encouraged to use the roof deck and resources for meetings and educational events.

- Example – board meeting for an external group OR a birthday party
- There is a fee for private events
The fixed assets on the roof deck include:
- Tables, chairs and benches
- A kitchen with BBQ, sink (hot & cold water), fridge and freezer, counter space
- Large counter tops for demonstration and teaching
- In case of inclement weather and with prior booking, an indoor space can be rented separately from the rooftop space.

Education and knowledge sharing is an objective of the Carrot Green Roof and Garden. We invite local leaders and experts to host workshops and events that complement the vision of the roof. The space will be reserved for your event/gathering and we will help advertise the event through our website and social media channels.
- Example – Meditation class open to public OR a workshop on pollinators
- Public events that complement the vision of the Carrot Green Roof & Garden are not charged a rental fee.
